Chartered August 27, 1943, I.A.T.S.E., Local 772 sprang into action in the theatrical world surrounding Washington, DC – including surrounding portions of Virginia and Maryland.  We are known as the Theatrical Wardrobe Union (TWU) within the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Motion Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO, CLC – our parent organization was established in 1893.
